Michelle Obama, wife of presidential hopeful Barack Obama, read books to children at the Nurturing Center yesterday (Monday, June 2) - her favorite campaign activity, she declared to the packed room.

Glacier Waldorf School was blessed to be invited by Nurturing Center Executive Director Susan Christofferson, and with extremely short notice some of our kids were rounded up. They very much enjoyed meeting Mrs. Obama.

After first meeting each child, Mrs. Obama then read three books to the happy audience, sharing laughter and finally hugs with all the children.

It was a rare and wonderful day!
